Combinatorics 2015-2016

This is the home page for the Combinatorics course. It will eventually contain copies of course handouts, solutions to problems and useful links.

There are many good books covering the material in this course. Two I have borrowed liberally from when preparing the course are

Victor Bryant, Aspects of Combinatorics, Cambridge University Press,
Peter Cameron, Combinatorics: Topics, Techniques, Algorithms, Cambridge University Press.

Of these two, Bryant's is the more elementary, and Cameron's is the more challenging.

The home page of the book Analytic Combinatorics by Philippe Flajolet and Robert Sedgewick. This is an advanced but very detailed text on generating function methods.
