Although the School of Mathematical Sciences at Exeter University is kindly allowing me to use its facilities and to host this website on its server, I have an honorary (i.e. unpaid) position in the School and hence my work on the site is entirely without funding.

I am currently in a difficult financial situation, and as I must seek other paid work, it is possible that there may be extended periods where I am unable to make much progress in the development of this project.

It recently occurred to me to seek work proof-reading. I would be particularly interested in proof-reading mathematical documents, especially those written in English by mathematicians who are not native speakers of English. This is something I have already done quite a lot of, informally and voluntarily, as a result of this site.

I have also produced a mathematics and physics reference book which was published recently by Walker & Co (New York), and is currently being translated into several languages. The process of putting this book together has also been a useful source of experience in this field.

I would obviously enjoy proofreading mathematical articles which were in some way related to the material discussed on my website.
